We have dispensed ales for over 40 years, including Larkins, from nearby Larkins Farm.
The Bar Menu offers typical pub food; chips, however, are definitely not served. Our Lunch Menu is excellent value for money ~ 2 courses £9.95 complimented by a selection of dishes in our Table d'Hôte menu at £17.50 for 3 courses. At the top end of the range our à la Carte menu enables you to indulge yourself. |

The Great House is an enchanting 16th Century Freehouse full of character and boasting a wealth of history being used as a haunt for the Hawkhurst smugglers during the 17th Century. The freehouse has now been fully refurbished in a unique and warm style and offers an informal Brasserie menu and exceptionally fine food from a full a la carte menu which has been created by the award winning French Chef, Wilfried Banchereau.
