Paramour Grange is a Grade 2 listed house of historic importance perfectly suited for large family or corporate group. It will sleep up to 9 in comfort with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
There is a fully modernized beautiful country style kitchen, laundry, double reception rooms, dining room and ample parking; internet access, alarm, modern bathrooms and luxurious bedding and linen. There is a Grade 2 listed master bedroom, which retains the original wall decorations made in honour of King James the 1st for his visit to Canterbury in 1603.
Paramour Grange was also the home of Thomas Paramour, the Mayor of Canterbury in 1619. Further original and rare period features throughout the house make this a very special place to stay. Tastefully decorated and furnished by its european owners, Paramour Grange will welcome you and your party like a family country residence. There is a large garden and ample outdoor furnished entertaining areas, situated within a sunken garden adjoining the rear of the property, with gravelled paths, arbours adorned with clematis and roses.
The dining room lends itself for catering to large parties and is ideally suited for corporate events. Daily maid services and a resident gardner's presence can be arranged and will ensure your stay will be care-free and pleasant. Only a short drive away from Royal St George, Paramour Grange is found in a tranquil rural location about 2 miles to the north of the village of Ash, which has a good range of local facilities including a number of shops for day-to-day needs, a doctors' surgery and public houses.
The Cathedral City of Canterbury is about 12 miles to the west. Paramour Grange is well placed to take advantage of good road access in the area, with the A256 linking directly with the A2 at Dover, which in turn links with the A2/M2 and the A20/M20. There are railway stations at Sandwich and Canterbury with services to London.
